Wildlife Orissa


A white tiger or leopard strong try to make friends with a pack of wild elephants that look at you, you giant crocodiles leap for food, olive ridley turtles resting on the grass courts and dissonance of birds from Siberia in winter immigrants are some common views on a journey through the variety of wildlife Orissa.A variety of wildlife can be found in Orissa due to environmental factors. In addition, large tracts of land have been declared as protected areas for these life forms and alienating as the destroyer of humanity.

Housing a large number of wildlife sanctuaries and national parks, the state turned out to be a paradise of pleasure for nature lovers. A total of 110 species of reptiles, including three species of crocodiles, 19 species of amphibians, 473 species of birds and 86 species of mammals found in wildlife in the state.The region includes deer, Sambar, Black Panther, Tiger, leopard, elephant, hyena, Reptiles boar, bear, porcupine, Blackbuck, monkeys, squirrels, Jungle Cat, Hyena, Jackel, Karanja lizards, chameleons and Mongoose.
